Aroundthebend213, in addition to being a person who looks like a girl, is a person who appears to be white, with all the participation in a racist political economy that that entails. ARTB is also a graduate student, teacher, queer, and and member of various activist and political organizations. I’m also dusting off my dancing shoes for the first time in a long time. Most of my IRL life is devoted to scholarship on U.S. and Africa and activism relating to workers’ rights.
